Ticket cap is set at 1,978 across all three tiers (250 Micro-Sponsor + 1,480 General Admission + 248 Student).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#039;s the event format \u2014 in-person, virtual, or hybrid?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hybrid. All sessions are in-person at the Phoenix Convention Center, and the main-stage sessions also stream live so the global community can watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who typically attends WordCamp US?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The audience ranges from complete beginners to WordPress core contributors. Common roles: developers, designers, marketers, agency owners, freelancers, enterprise users, plugin and theme builders, students. WCUS draws attendees from 30+ countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are there opportunities to meet WordPress core contributors?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. Contributor Day on Sunday August 16 is specifically designed for that \u2014 25 contributor teams set up tables, you can join any of them for the day. Many core contributors also attend the main conference and the social events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#039;s the difference between Contributor Day, Showcase Day, and the main conference?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contributor Day (Sunday Aug 16) is a working day \u2014 you sit at a team table and contribute to WordPress directly (translation, code, design, support, etc.). Showcase Day (Monday Aug 17) features standout real-world WordPress projects \u2014 inspiration-focused. Tuesday Aug 18 and Wednesday Aug 19 are the main conference with full session programming and the community social on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets and pricing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Buying, pricing, refunds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does a $100 ticket include?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All four days, all sessions and workshops, Contributor Day, Showcase Day, daily lunch, snacks, the community social, sponsor booth access, and event swag. Sponsorship covers the true cost of attendance, which is significantly higher than $100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are student tickets available?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes. Full-time students with a valid student ID can get a Student ticket for $25 \u2014 same access as General Admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#039;s a Micro-Sponsor ticket?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$750. It covers the true cost of attending for yourself plus 7+ other community members. You&#039;re listed on the Sponsors page as a supporter. Same access as General Admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I get a refund if I can&#039;t make it?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets are refundable until July 24, 2026. After that date, you can transfer your ticket by editing details via your confirmation email \u2014 sell it, give it, or gift it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I purchase a ticket?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the Tickets page. You&#039;ll need a WordPress.org account (not your personal WordPress site account \u2014 the official org account at wordpress.org). If you don&#039;t have one, create an account here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you offer group or company discounts?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Companies typically sponsor at one of the six tiers to get bulk ticket access (e.g., Author tier at $17,500 includes 5 GA passes). Sheraton self-parking is $36 with in\/out privileges, valet $46.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I get from the airport?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PHX Sky Harbor is 4.4 miles from the convention center. By Valley Metro A Line light rail: ~16 minutes, $2 one-way. By car: ~10 minutes. Light rail is the easiest option if you&#039;re not renting a car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travel and visa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting here<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you provide visa letters for international attendees?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes \u2014 the organizing team will provide a visa support letter for your application. We don&#039;t submit on your behalf. You must purchase a ticket before a letter will be provided. Each country has its own visa process; allow ample time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is August a bad time to visit Phoenix?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phoenix in August is hot (averaging 105\u00b0F highs) but dry (~17% humidity). It&#039;s air-conditioned everywhere indoors. Most attendees find it comfortable inside; outdoor walking between buildings is the warmest part of the day. Hydrate aggressively, sunscreen, breathable shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is the convention center walkable from the hotel?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes \u2014 about a 5-minute walk between the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown and the Phoenix Convention Center. In August heat, plan to keep walks short and use indoor connectors where available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What should I pack?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lightweight breathable clothing.
